The JConcepts crew headed up to Brookfield Wisconsin for the Team Associated Race at Trackside Hobbies and Raceway. Congratulations to Trackside for celebrating 40 Years in business this year!
Practice started Wednesday and right away the team was up to speed and working well together to get the best program going for the rest of the weekend. Drivers settled on using Silver Compound Smoothie 2s with most using RM2 black front foam and gray foam in 4wd and standard gray foam in 4wd.
The team had some strong showings in seeding with the following results:
2wd Modified Buggy: 1st Broc Champlin
4wd Modified Buggy: 1st Cole Tollard, 2nd Broc Champlin, 3rd Chase Lemieux (JC Privateer)
17.5 2wd Buggy: 2nd Collin Clark, 3rd Kyle Holmberg
13.5 4wd Buggy: 2nd Doug Lariviere, 3rd Tyler Hooks

17.5 2wd Buggy: 1st Doug Lariviere, 2nd Brad Shearer
13.5 4wd Buggy: 1st Doug Lariviere, 3rd Skyler Bergeron
13.5 Stadium Truck: 1st Allen Horne, 2nd Skyler Bergeron, 3rd Kraig O’Brien
21.5 2wd Buggy: 2nd Gavin Wick
Finally we ended the weekend with main events on Sunday, JConcepts drivers battled hard taking home even more classes than in qualifying and seeding:
Aydin Horne would take home a pretty straight forward overall win after taking the win in A1 and A2. Dustin Evans would have 2, 2nd place finishes going into A3 with Broc Champlin having 2, 3rds. This would setup for a barn burner A3 with the final two spots on the podium being up for grabs. Evans, Champlin, and Dreighton Stoub (also using JC products this weekend) would battle it out to the end with Dreighton taking the win. This would put him just short of the podium and give 2nd to Dustin and 3rd to Broc.
2wd Modified Buggy: 2nd Dustin Evans, 3rd Broc Champlin
Dustin Evans would capitalize on mistakes from TQ Aydin Horne in A1 and A2 of modified 4wd to wrap up the overall in 2 mains. Aydin would battle back with 2nd place finishes and a win in A3 to take the 2nd place spot on the podium. Cole Tollard would gain a spot from qualifying to finish 3rd overall on the weekend.
