One of last weekend big races was the JConcepts West Coast Carpet Championship held at PDX Underground in Oregon! Joe Pillars (JConcepts team) put on a phenomenal event, attracting more than 160 racers along with some of the best in the US.

The event was open tire which allowed for flexibility, but ultimately many of the JConcepts drivers ended up on Swaggers and Nessis.

4 qualifiers were held on Saturday with TLR Driver Austin Cracknell taking TQ of 2wd modified and Team Yokomo driver Ryan Maifield taking the TQ in 4wd modified.

In 2wd modified, after 3 rounds of mains Team Associated Dustin Evans would take the 1st position, with Maifield in 2nd and Austin in 3rd.

Maifield won 4wd modified, with Evans taking the 2nd position and local 1Up Racing driver Andy DiBrino in 3rd.

After going through the tie breakers, Maifield and Evans tied for the win with DiBrino taking the 3rd position. Each driver took half of the combined 1-2 prize-money of $800 with DiBrino taking home the $200 3rd place price.
