1. It is a FREE update.
2. You must use the latest Maclan Windows Smart Link software to update the UNLOCK firmware.
3. The unlock process is irreversible. Once the ESC is unlocked, it will not be able to go back to regular version 19.xx.
4. Motor timing must be set under 20 degrees.
5. Firmware updates will not (never) damage an ESC.
6. By unlocking the ESC, the procedure voids any active warranty in it.
