We collect information about you (or your organization) when you add a listing on our site. This information may include, but is not limited to, your name, IP address, email address, phone number, address, locations details including GPS coordinates and any other details that might be requested from you for the purpose of adding your business listings.

Listing Reviews

We collect information about you when you submit a review of a listing on our site. This information may include, but is not limited to, your name, email address, IP address, website url, image(s), review ratings and review texts.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Listing Contact Forms

We may collect information about you when you submit a contact form to a listing. This information may include, but is not limited to, your name, email address, IP address and contact texts.

User data/profile

We collect information about you during the registration and edit profile process on our site. This information may include, but is not limited to, your name, email address, phone number, address, IP and any other details that might be requested from you for the purpose of building your public profile.

Any profile information provided to this site may be displayed publicly.

  • Send you important account/order/service information.
  • Provide a way for users to contact your listing via the provided contact information.
  • Notify you of user interactions such as but not limited to review and contact notifications.
  • Respond to your queries or complaints.
  • Set up and administer your account, provide technical and/or customer support, spam prevention and to verify your identity. We do this on the basis of our legitimate business interests.
  • Spam prevention.
  • Send the Customer contact message and details to the listings contact email.
  • Monitor the contact system for spam and abuse.
  • Send you important account/order/service information.
  • Set up and administer your RCTracks.io User account, provide technical and/or customer support, and to verify your identity.

4. Third-Party Integrations

We may use the Information we collect or receive through the Service, as a processor and as otherwise stated in this privacy policy, to enable your use of the integrations and plugins you choose to connect to your RCTracks.io User account.

5. Cookies

Cookies are files with a small amount of data, which may include an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are sent to your browser from a web site and transferred to your device. We use cookies to collect information in order to improve our Websites for you. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

6. Embedded Content From Other Websites

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

10. What rights you have over your data
